To strengthen the quality and credibility of the next edition of the DAMA-DMBOK®, we are forming a formal ad hoc review committee composed of Certified CDMP® Masters. This panel will provide expert peer review of draft content from the Editorial Board and offer strategic input on editorial themes and direction.

Who Can Join?

We’re looking for highly experienced practitioners who:

  • Hold a CDMP® Master certification (verification required via Badgr ID public profile)

  • Bring at least 10+ years of professional experience in data management

  • Demonstrate expertise across DAMA knowledge areas

  • Can commit ~90 - 120 minutes per month, plus ad-hoc review activities, through Q1 2027

  • Are willing to disclose potential conflicts of interest

  • Contribute a diverse perspective (region, sector, industry)

  • Serve as part of a 7-member panel, including one Panel Chair

  • Understand this is a voluntary role — service is recognized, but not compensated

The Process

  1. Apply: Complete the form below. Application deadline is September 30, 2025.

  2. Screening: We review eligibility (CDMP status, experience, expertise, region).

  3. Scoring: Applications will be reviewed against a structured rubric to ensure fairness and transparency:

    • Expertise: Depth of knowledge and demonstrated experience across DAMA knowledge areas.

    • Independence: Ability to provide objective, unbiased review and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

    • Contribution History: Past involvement in DAMA, DAMA-DMBOK®, or other professional contributions to the data management community.

    • Availability: Willingness and ability to commit the expected time (~90 - 120 minutes per month plus ad-hoc reviews through Q1 2027).

    • Diversity Value Add: The extent to which the applicant strengthens the panel’s balance across regions, sectors, and industries.

  4. Shortlisting & Interviews: Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a brief interview.

  5. Final Selection: Panel roster published by Nov 28, 2025.

  6. Transparency: Panel charter and membership will be published on this site.
