Focus Group Sessions

Round 1: Experiences & Expectations

Help shape the future of the DAMA-DMBOK®. Round 1 Focus Groups will be held from Q4 2025 through Q1 2026. These sessions are an opportunity for members worldwide to share their insights and experiences, directly influencing the next edition of the Body of Knowledge.

Purpose of the Focus Groups

These sessions aim to:

Identify challenges, successes, and gaps in current usage

Explore what members need most in the upcoming 3.0 edition

Your contributions will guide the Editorial Board in developing DAMA-DMBOK® 3.0.

Round 1 Details

  • Timeline: October 2025 – March 2026

  • Format: Virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams

  • Duration: 90 minutes

  • Group size: 10–15 participants per session

  • Facilitators: Members of the Editorial Board and project team

Who Can Participate

  • DAMA Individual Professional Members 

  • DAMA Chapters

⚠️ For DAMA Chapters: once a Chapter submits its registration, the Project Team will support the process of enrolling individual Chapter members. Final alignment on participant selection and scheduling will be handled directly with the Chapter.

How to Register

You can download step-by-step instructions below. But in a nutchell:

  1. Log in to your DAMA membership account at dama.org.

  2. Go to Events → Browse Events.

  3. Select “DAMA Individual Professional Member Focus Group Registration (DAMA-DMBOK® 3.0)” or "DAMA Chapter Focus Group Registration for DAMA-DMBOK® 3.0".

  4. Click Register and complete the short form.

  5. Receive your confirmation and calendar invitation by email
