We’re inviting recommendations of practitioners, researchers, and leaders whose work meaningfully advances data management. You can nominate yourself or someone else. Submissions are reviewed by the Editorial Board on a rolling basis through March 31, 2026 (Q1 2026).

Who we’re looking for (selection criteria)

The Editorial Board will review nominations against the following considerations. Priority will be given to nominees who demonstrate:

  • Recognized expertise — such as published work, conference presentations, leadership of major programs, participation in standards bodies, or sustained contributions to the data management community.

  • Practical impact  evidence of measurable outcomes in data management (for example: improved data quality, reduced risk, or successful adoption at scale).

  • Breadth and relevance — perspectives that span functions, industries, or regulatory domains, and that align with one or more DAMA-DMBOK® knowledge areas.

  • Ethics and responsibility — demonstrated commitment to responsible and ethical use of data and AI.

  • Diversity of perspectives — representation across geography, sector, organization size, and professional background.

  • Availability — willingness and ability to participate in a 45–60 minute recorded virtual interview between October 2025 and March 2026.

Important notice

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection or invitation. The Editorial Board retains full discretion to determine which nominees are invited to participate, based on the criteria above as well as the need to ensure a balanced and representative set of interviews across regions, sectors, and roles.

How nominations work

  1. Submit the form below (self-nomination or nominate someone else).

  2. Editorial review on a rolling basis. We assess fit against the criteria above and current coverage needs.

  3. If selected, we’ll contact the nominee with the official registration form to confirm availability and complete consent.

  4. Scheduling happens after registration; interviews are recorded/transcribed for internal editorial analysis only.

Privacy & consent

  • If you nominate yourself, you consent to us processing your details to assess your nomination and contact you.

  • If you nominate someone else, please ensure you have a legitimate basis to share their contact details (e.g., they agreed, or details are publicly available). We will contact them about this opportunity and delete their data if they decline.

  • Interviews, if scheduled, are recorded and transcribed for internal editorial use.
